Why would you purchase a COUPON?

Did you know that you can buy coupons online?  You might ask, why would you buy a coupon when you are trying to save money?  I would say I do this a couple of times a month and here's why.

Last month, there was a $4 Nivea body wash coupon.  I could purchase one of these coupons for somewhere between 35-50 cents.  Nivea body wash sales for 3.99 at Walmart, therefore I paid 35-50 cents for my body wash, and a rather large bottle. 

Another one was $5 off a certain brand of razor.  Target was also offering a $1 coupon off that razor.  This razor sold for $6.99.  I paid approx 1.49 for it because the difference of the coupons was .99+.50 I paid for the coupon.  Well worth it.   

So, if you run across a really good coupon for something you use a lot, it might be worth your while to purchase some extra coupons.  Here are the 2 sites I have used in the past.

Kohl's - Free $5 when you sign up for their emails

Sign up for Kohl's sale alerts and they will send you an email for $5 off your next in store purchase and 10% off your next Kohls.com purchase.  I have been receiving their emails for quite some time now but for some reason, I received one of these $5 coupons today.  Not sure why but I'll take it!

You can earn points by using it as a search engine, daily polls, getting swag codes, shopping online, trading in cell phones, getting referrals, etc. The great thing about these points is you can save them and redeem them for gift cards and/or other merchandise. I have received points mainly by doing searches, surveys, and received a couple of referrals.  I already have enough for $20 in amazon gift cards.  You might as well earn as you are doing your searches!  Sign up here. MEDCO HEALTH STORE DEALS

If you are looking for some really great deals, check out Hip2Save!  I made a couple of orders - lots of free toothpaste, cheap shaving gel and floss among other things.  You don't want to miss these deals!

Extra money and/or gift cards by taking surveys

One way you can earn extra money is by joining some of the survey companies.  One I am recommending today is Opinion Outpost.  I like this one because you can request a check when you have as little as $5.00.  If you are interested, you can sign up here.  50 points = $5.00.  I just did a survey that took me about 10 minutes and earned $2.00 from it.  I can't say I do these every day but when they send me a survey invitation - I do try to check it out.
